Things to do in Manila for Free!

So being as “kuripot” as I can be, I am starting to sort out things that I can do or places I can visit for free. Since you guys are my favorite, I will be sharing my list with you!

1. Visit National Museum

As far as I know, we can now visit the Philippine National Museum for free! You get to see paintings, arts, antiques and the likes as well as you’ll get to learn a lot about our very own history. I mean come on, this should be on our list with or without charge. Culture is the foundation of our very own identity.

2. Picnic in the Park

Hello Luneta Park! I will be very honest with you guys. I’ve never been to Luneta Park. I grew up abroad and I only had a chance to pass by Luneta Park whenever we go visit my grandmother’s house in Manila. Actually stepping foot on the park itself, I’ve never done it yet. The park also has this free fountain show which is scheduled every 6AM-8AM (Mondays to Sundays) and 6PM-10PM Mondays to Thursdays.

3. Check the Money Museum!

I just recently read from Click in the City that Bangko Central ng Pilipinas in Malate Manila has this Money Museum which showcases Philippine Currencies. I do think we have lots of coins and bills since time immemorial.

4. Free Yoga

Have you heard of the Jivamukti Yoga Classes at the Legazpi Active Park? That is a free yoga training class where you don’t have to do any sign ups and the likes. You just have to show up in the park. Since I have a Fitness Agenda, of course I’m definitely trying this!

5. Enjoy fireworks!

We all know hat SM Mall of Asia has this fireworks display every Saturday at around 7PM right? Enjoy the view by the bay while feeling the cold breeze of air (while cuddling with your loved ones…) hayys…

6. Free Rowing Classes!

This one I will definitely try! I always enjoy trying different sports. Just recently I am in to Muay Thai. Probably by this coming summer vacation, I’ll try this free rowing class courtesy of the Manila Boat Club.

7. Eastwood Walk of Fame

Never been here at all which is why I am planning to go here ASAP. They said that there are a lot of shops in Eastwood. Not just shops but a budget friendly one!

Did I miss anything? If you guys can suggest more places for me to visit for free, please do comment it down so I can add it up to my list. Been a Cavite person for quite sometime since my parents are not here to bring me to these places.
